Student engagement can be at its highest levels when students use technology to meet objectives. When students are allowed the opportunity to use technology in their classroom, they many times become completely engaged. Often times when students are using technology, they are creating something. When students are creating, they are using higher order thinking skills. SimpleK12 - Teacher Learning Community

SimpleK12 is a teacher learning community were teachers can gain information on current and upcoming tends in education.  This site offers webinars on a wide variety of topics.  Additional to the webinar are resources such as ebooks.  SimpleK12 offers free and paid membership.  However, in just having the free membership, a teacher has many resources available to them making this a site worth using to learn new skills in education.
